The Old Town Guest House is an upscale vacation home originally built in 1870 and beautifully renovated with tasteful and modern accomodations to make your stay a perfect one. Located in the historic district of old town St. Charles, you’ll love strolling along the cobblestone streets, visiting all the unique shop, restaurants and entertainment Main Street has to offer. Right off the Katy Trail and great for cyclists looking for lodging beyond the hotel scene. Only 9 miles from Lambert Airport and a short half-hour drive to the all St. Louis Attractions, you can explore it all!
Walking in the door on the lower level walk out to the parking, you’ll see a luxurious hot tub with jets and lighting in a private enclosure wrapped in cozy cedar siding. Inside the bottom floor has 1 bedroom with a king size bed, full bathroom, and washer and dryer. Main floor boast a beautiful kitchen with breakfast and snacks awaiting you (full kitchen except for no stove/range), comfortable and lovely living room, room with a daybed, and another full bathroom. Upstairs is a charming half story room with 2 queen beds, closet, and plenty of space.

We love communicating with our guests. To ensure nothing is missed or lost in translation, we are available via email or text. At time of booking, you will be required to read and sign a short-term rental agreement, provide a security deposit and provide a copy of a government issued ID for guest booking reservation. Once check out is complete, no damage is confirmed and it appears all house rules and check out procedures have been adhered to, your security deposit hold will be released. Please note that this may take up to 7 business days.

3. Guests staying longer than 1 week can request housekeeping services at an additional cost to provide clean linens and towels and clean living areas. Please contact the host for information on additional cost if housekeeping services are wanted.
4. Parties are not allowed as this home is in a quiet neighborhood.
5. For insurance and safety purposes, all guests must be listed and accounted for on your reservation/itinerary. No more than 8 guests may stay at any time.
6. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance when booking our home. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, weather, illness, emergencies etc, which could cause you to need to cancel your trip or end it prematurely. If you choose not to obtain travel insurance, please know that we will abide by our cancellation policy and no refunds will be provided should you decline to protect your travel. If you book this unit, that action constitutes agreement with this policy. Under no circumstances will guest receive a reduction in rent, be relocated at owner’s expense or be refunded for any equipment or amenity failure. Property manager/owner, upon being notified by guest of any malfunction will make every reasonable effort to have such appliances/amenities repaired. Replacement or repair during occupancy cannot be guaranteed. Issues must be reported to owner within 24 hours of arrival.

The main level of the home is an open concept boasting high ceilings with large windows so you can enjoy the views.
Kitchen & Dining
Our Cabin has everything you need for the ideal getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and grilling! We have al the utensils and cooking items needed so you don’t have to go out to eat every night. Our Webber Grill is also hooked directly up to the propane so you’ll never run out of fuel!
Game room
The basement is fully finished and carpeted where everyone can have fun! We have a foosball table, an air hockey table and a poker table for your entertainment. There is also a TV over a gas fireplace, a full bathroom with tub and a bedroom with two full sized beds. There is a Bar in the basement as well with a sink where you can sit back and watch the game as well! Kids really enjoy the basement and the games, but the adults have just as much fun trying to beat them in air hockey or foosball! We also have a hot tub where you can soak up the fresh air and relax. Our hot tub is drained and cleaned prior to any arrivals.

The master bedroom has a King Size Bed, a walk in shower and a jacuzzi with jets. You can comfortably watch your favorite show or sporting event on the 60 inch TV as well. Even better, walk out to your private balcony overlooking the mountains and at evening you can catch the perfect sunset!
The main level bedroom has a king size bed along with a full bathroom, walk in shower and closet space. There is plenty of space and the room is cozy for sleeping or just reading a book to relax. The TV is also equipped with ROKU so you can watch your favorite shows and movies.

Outdoor Sitting and Patio Areas
Our main deck is our favorite hangout spot. Unwind after a day of hiking/activities and enjoy the sunset and mountain views. There is enough seating for everyone on the main deck where you can enjoy each others company. If the weather is nice, bring your meal outside by the wood fire place with a nice cool mountain breeze.
At the end of the driveway there is a fire-pit with plenty of wood. We have camping chairs available for use, but please use the fire places safely and make sure that the fires are put out before resting for bed. We really love our home and our surrounding forests and want to keep it green!

Due to same day arrival and departures, regretfully, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We ask that you do not interrupt the cleaning crew as this will only delay your check-in. The cleaning crew is not authorized to allow anyone access to the property.
